Outkick the Show: Wednesday, July 15, 2020

On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis shared his thoughts on the most recent positive and underreported coronavirus news.

Clay continued by quoting the most recent statistics released by the CDC regarding how the coronavirus has adversely affected young people compared to other causes of sickness and death. It is Clay’s opinion that schools across the nation need to be back in school.

Clay also talked about the new Derrick Henry/Tennessee Titans contract just announced. Clay believes what appears to be a two-year deal is reasonable.

Clay went on to discuss Tommy Tuberville’s GOP primary landslide win over Jeff Sessions in Alabama. Clay believes the former Auburn coach will be a shoe-in for senator in the general election over incumbent Doug Jones.

Clay then shared his opinion on Dwayne Wade’s tweet in support of Nick Cannon and his anti-semitic comments. Clay called out his blatant hypocrisy.

Clay concluded by commenting on the upcoming NASCAR event in Bristol, TN with around 30k fans allowed to attend. Said Travis, “There is a NASCAR race in Bristol tonight and there are going to be fans present. If 30K fans can show up to watch a NASCAR race in Tennessee, how in the world can Vanderbilt and the University of Tennessee not play football in September?”
