Outkick the Show: Friday, September 6, 2019

On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis discussed the ongoing drama surrounding Antonio Brown and the Oakland Raiders. AB will now play on Monday night’s game against the Denver Broncos, and Brown was only suspended for one practice for using a racial slur and threatening violence against GM Mike Mayock.

Clay then gave his gambling picks, with Texas A&M defeating Clemson and covering the spread in Clay’s blood-bank guarantee. Clay is also betting the over in that game. The complete list of Clay’s Week 2 picks are as follows:

Vanderbilt at Purdue the over 55.5, now 55.5
Syracuse at Maryland the over 58, now 57
West Virginia at Mizzou -14, now Mizzou -14
Cincinnati +16.5 at Ohio State, now Cincinnati +16
Texas A&M +18 at Clemson and the over 61, now Texas A&M +17.5 and 64.5
Illinois -20 at UConn, now Illinois -20
BYU at Vols -3, now Vols -3.5
Arkansas +7 at Ole Miss, now Arkansas +6.5
Stanford +3 at Southern Cal, now Stanford +1
LSU -5 at Texas

Clay then commented on the Packers - Bears game. The game was ugly, said Travis, with unimpressive performances by Aaron Rodgers, Mitch Trubisky, and both teams in general.

Clay also spoke about Tyreek Hill’s $35 million contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Clay concludes the show by commenting on Liberty University’s head coach Hugh Freeze shifting from a hospital chair to a dental chair for this week’s game. This, said Travis, is unintentionally hilarious.
