Outkick the Show: Friday, June 21, 2019

On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis reacted to the Le’Veon Bell 911 call where one million dollars worth of his jewelry was stolen by two young women he left in his home when he left to work out.

He also mentioned the NBA Draft policy of players not being allowed to wear a team hat during the draft until the season officially starts, which leads to confusion and is embarrassing. Clay also commented on the draft picks, recognizing Zion as the most exciting addition to the league since LeBron James.

Clay also commented on the Tampa Bay Rays and their decision to consider Montreal as a city who can share the team for half the season. Clay thinks the Rays should move to Nashville instead, as the city would do well with an American League team in the South with all of their tourism.

Clay Travis then discussed the LSU fan who is paying players who pled guilty to paying 500k from a charity and gave 180k to a football player’s family. He is now facing up to 20 years in prison.

Finally, Clay Travis talked about the women’s World Cup with the US beating Sweden while playing nearly flawless soccer. They will now play Spain on Monday. The women’s World Cup ratings are up 36% from 4 years ago on Fox.
