It’s been quite a season for Oregon State junior running back Jermar Jefferson. It will also be his final season. Jefferson has officially declared for the NFL draft.

He rushed for 858 yards and seven touchdowns in seven games, surpassing 100 yards on the ground in five of them. He also erupted for 226 yards against rival Oregon.

Despite Jefferson’s strong season, the Beavers finished 2-5, dropping their final three games after their inspiring 41-38 win over Oregon. Jefferson is expected to be among the top 10-12 running backs selected in the NFL draft.
