On Signing Day Eve SEC Poised For Greatest Recruiting Haul Ever

A rising tide has lifted all SEC boats and never has that been more clear than by looking at the Rivals recruiting rankings.

The SEC presently has seven of the top ten recruiting classes in the country:

1. Alabama

3. Texas A&M

4. Tennessee

6. LSU

7. Florida

8. Georgia

10. Auburn

13. Kentucky

15. Ole Miss

Nine, Nine!, SEC schools are presently in the top 15.

While there are nine SEC schools in the top 15, the other five major conferences have just six teams in the top 15. The ACC has three school, the Big Ten and the Big 12 have just one top 15 class each and the Pac 12 has none. (Notre Dame is presently the number 9 class in the country.)

This will be the most impressive collection of talent ever signed by SEC schools.

So which four and five star players are left to make a decision and where are those players headed?

Let's dive into the 247 composite crystal ball database and find out.

There are 32 four and five star players who have yet to commit, but most of those recruits are heavy favorites to sign with particular schools. Indeed, when you scan the predictions, there are really only a handful of prospects who are totally unclear.

There are 11 composite five stars remaining to decide tomorrow, but only Malik McDowell appears to be a true mystery.
