Oklahoma DE Ronnie Perkins Wins NCAA Suspension Appeal, Expected to Play Vs. Texas

Ronnie Perkins, a defensive end for the Oklahoma Sooners, was "believed to be" suspended for six games by the NCAA for failing a drug test after the Big 12 championship game, according to the Tulsa World. Per Jason Kersey of The Athletic, Perkins has won an appeal for reinstatement:




A junior, Perkins had a total of 45 solo tackles, 11 sacks, and one forced fumble in 2018 and 2019. He was rated as a four-star recruit by both 247 and Rivals.

According to FanDuel, Oklahoma is favored by 2.5 versus Texas next week.
