Ronnie Perkins, a defensive end for the Oklahoma Sooners, was “believed to be” suspended for six games by the NCAA for failing a drug test after the Big 12 championship game, according to the Tulsa World. Per Jason Kersey of The Athletic, Perkins has won an appeal for reinstatement:
This was seen as impossible mere weeks ago. Something changed with regard to Perkins' appeal specifically within the last couple of weeks. The statuses of Trejan Bridges and Rhamondre Stevenson remain unchanged.

A junior, Perkins had a total of 45 solo tackles, 11 sacks, and one forced fumble in 2018 and 2019. He was rated as a four-star recruit by both 247 and Rivals.
According to FanDuel, Oklahoma is favored by 2.5 versus Texas next week.
