Oklahoma City Murder Suspect On The Loose After Incredible Prison Escape Using Bedsheets
A murder suspect is on the loose in Oklahoma City after a brazen 12-story jail escape that was made possible via a bedsheet rope that allowed Pablo Robledo to lower himself and another inmate to freedom. KOCO reporter Christine Stanwood says Robledo, 34, was in the county jail on a first-degree murder charge. The other inmate who escaped, Jose Hernandez, suffered a broken leg and was apprehended.
Robledo had been in the county jail since his June 2019 arrest in the shooting death of another Oklahoma City man.
Bedsheet prison escapes aren't a new idea. A quick Google search reveals dozens of escapes over the years using the multiple bedsheet and bust through the prison window method. There are even instructions online for how to pull a prison escape using bedsheets. It's not like this guy in Oklahoma City just happened to hatch this plan out of thin air.
Now is probably a good time to go into hiding if you have a previous beef with Robledo until he's arrested and thrown into whatever maximum security cell they have in OKC.
