Odell Becky Jr. Making One-Handed Grabs, Sir Yacht Drives To Cincy & Is Ryan Finley Smiling Or Grimacing?

What a night for Bengals and Browns fans

I kept waiting for the disaster to come. The Bengals went into halftime feeling like they had won the Super Bowl and then came out flat in the second half. That's normally when the wheels would fall off this team. There would be a 60-yard pass interference call, then an Andy Dalton fumble, a special teams mistake and the Steelers would go from 14 down to up 17.

It was truly a Christmas miracle the Steelers didn't come back to kick a game-winning field goal as time expired. If you think I'm being overdramatic, keep in mind the Bengals hadn't beaten the Steelers since November 1, 2015.

Last night's result sent the secondary ticket market flying in Cleveland, where $250 is now the cheapest ticket you can find for the January 3 Steelers-Browns game that will likely settle the AFC North. Let this sink in: 1989 was the last time the Browns won the division. That is not a misprint. I triple checked. 1989.

That's why Bengals third-string quarterback Ryan Finley is a hero in Cuyahoga County this morning. Cleveland finds itself a win over the Jets away from playing for all the marbles.

• Finley is now 1-3 as a starter in the NFL, putting him one career win behind Chase Daniel (2-3). Heading into the 2020 season, Daniel was at $34,309,164 million in career earnings. After that effort, Finley might've just guaranteed himself several more years of sticking around the league.

• Looks like 'Super COVID' is now a thing for the COVID talking heads to ramble on about. Former FDA Director Scott Gottlieb will be talking about COVID 35 years from now, if he can find an Amazon channel that'll have him.
