Odell Beckham Jr. On COVID-19: 'It don't want no parts of me'

Odell Beckham Jr. feels like Superman apparently. During a press conference on Wednesday, the Cleveland Browns receiver revealed that he does not think he can catch COVID-19. The exchange was shocking, amusing and amazing all at the same time.

When asked if he was worried last week when he was sent home with an illness that could be COVID, Beckham responded:

"Not in an arrogant way, I just don't think COVID can get to me," he said. "I don't think it's going to get into this body. I don't want no parts of it, it don't want no parts of me. It's a mutual respect."

Jake Trotter, a Browns beat reporter for ESPN, shared a clip of the response via his social media account:

Beckham goes on to say that getting tested was the mature thing to do:

"I felt like it was the right thing to do to mention I may not have been feeling well," Beckham continued. "I just wouldn't want it to spread throughout the building if there was a case I would've possibly had it."

He's right, of course. It was the correct move. Apparently, the only thing Beckham can't catch is COVID, or that's his mindset. The Chuck Norris jokes have run their course. We can now shift our focus to Odell Beckham Jr. jokes.

What a time to be alive.

The Browns (4-2) will go on the road to take on the Bengals (1-4-1) in Week 7 after a 38-7 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. This will be the second time Cleveland has taken on Cincinnati this season. The first result was a 35-30 victory for the Browns.
