Odell Beckham Jr Mysteriously Remains Out For Browns

The Cleveland Browns may not really miss him, but receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will miss his second straight game Sunday vs. the Houston Texans.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski informed reporters Wednesday that OBJ is continuing to progress from an ACL injury suffered last season but that his status will remain a game-to-game basis.

Interestingly, Beckham wasn't ruled out of last week's opening loss to the Kansas City Chiefs until about 90 minutes before kickoff. This week, he's been ruled out considerably sooner than that.

Either way, the Browns have been just fine without the flamboyant veteran. They throttled the Pittsburgh Steelers to open the playoffs, then had the defending AFC champion Chiefs on the ropes in their own stadium just last weekend.

There have been questions about the chemistry between quarterback Baker Mayfield and Beckham, and while both men say it's great, the eye test has said something entirely different.
