OddsShark Gambling Picks and LSU Hires Coach Orgeron Reaction

What a morning. 

We've already seen LSU hire Ed Orgeron as their new head coach.

Now here are OddsShark's gambling picks. 

Remarkably, my picks are the opposite of every one of them. So we'll see who is right. 

There may be a smaller slate of college football games to wager on due to the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, but the matchups could not be much bigger for the teams playing on Saturday, including the top four in the latest College Football Playoff rankings.

The Alabama Crimson Tide (11-0), Clemson Tigers (10-1), Ohio State Buckeyes (10-1) and Michigan Wolverines (10-1) are all in action, with the latter two squaring off in their Big Ten rivalry game. Who wins, who loses, and who covers the spread?

Michigan at Ohio State (-6.5) (Sat, 12 p.m. ET) – Matchup Report

The Wolverines have lost 11 of the past 12 meetings with the Buckeyes straight up, failing to cover seven of the last nine. But last year, neither of these teams were ranked in the Top 5 with a shot to still play for the national championship. You could argue that this is the biggest college game of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh's career, as he needs to prove he can beat Ohio State's Urban Meyer. The Wolverines are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games after consecutive ATS losses and 6-1 SU in their previous seven on the road overall, so look for them to cover and possibly pull off the upset.

Auburn at Alabama (-17) (Sat, 3:30 p.m. ET) – Matchup Report

The Crimson Tide does not have much motivation to beat the Tigers badly here other than being another annual rivalry game between two schools that dislike each other. Regardless, this is a much bigger game for an Auburn team that has covered nine of its last 12 games and won five of its previous six against SEC opponents. Take the Tigers as double-digit underdogs.

South Carolina at Clemson (-24) (Sat, 7:30 p.m. ET) – Matchup Report

Unlike the team the Tigers faced for the national title last year, it would be wise for them to win impressively over the Gamecocks as the current fourth and final team in the CFP rankings. Even though the loser of the Michigan-Ohio State game will be out of the mix, Clemson cannot afford to mess around any more and must win out to get back to college football's Final Four. South Carolina has covered six of the last seven meetings but will fall short this time in a rout.
