The top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide and second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes still appear to be on a collision course to meet in the College Football Playoff national title game, and both unbeaten teams are double-digit favorites in Week 8 on the college football point spreads at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The defending national champion Crimson Tide will ride a 19-game winning streak into a home SEC matchup with the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday, and they have won the past three meetings in the series. Alabama is listed as 16.5-point chalk hosting Texas A&M and has also gone 9-2 against the spread during an 11-game winning streak versus teams with a winning record. The Aggies are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games when losing the previous meeting in a series.

As for the Buckeyes, they travel to Happy Valley to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions as 19-point road favorites. Ohio State has won 20 games in a row away from home straight up, winning the past four meetings with Penn State SU to go along with a 3-1 mark ATS.

The Nittany Lions have really struggled to cover the spread recently, going 2-7- 1 ATS in their last 10 games.
