Odds to win 2015 National Title

Dust has barely settled on the 2014 BCS and it's already time to look towards next year..at least for everyone that isn't a Florida State fan. With the inception of a college football playoff (sorry FCS, this one is for keeps) oddsmakers are in a different position pricing long shots because the road for getting to the title game is a bit clearer. Gone are 1000-1 prices on mid tier teams from power conferences, aka Auburn last January, since a few fortuitous bounces and just getting into the postseason will give teams a chance to claim the hardware.

The most interesting part about these opening lines? There isn't a single team priced higher than 300-1 going into the year whereas last season 14 schools opened with odds of 500-1 or greater.

These odds were posted earlier today at the LVH here in Vegas. Rather then offer knee jerk value plays we'll spend the rest of this week trying to identify some of the best early bets for next week's too early preview of the 2015 national championship
