The Notre Dame vs. Wake Forest football game previously scheduled for this Saturday has been postponed. News that this was expected to happen was first reported by Pete Thamel. The announcement comes after a number of Notre Dame players tested positive for Covid-19:
Notre Dame’s new numbers on quarantine (contact tracing) and isolation (positive for COVID-19).
10 players in quarantine
13 players in self-isolation
Contact tracing means a 14-day absence from football activities. A positive test means a 10-day stop on football activities.

Notre Dame had had a pretty solid start to this football season, beating Duke 27-13 and South Florida 52-0 the past two weeks. The Fighting Irish are currently ranked no. 7 in the AP poll (which does not have Big Ten teams in it yet).
