Nolan Hickman Announces On Social Media He's Going To Play For Gonzaga In 2021

Nolan Hickman is one of the most scouted players in the country, and it's paying off for the youngster as reports say that he's committed to joining Gonzaga to continue his basketball career in the 2021-22 season.

The former Kentucky Wildcat is a top-30 national talent who last played for Wasatch Academy in Utah.

The move for Hickman keeps him in his home state, something that he was looking forward to when he decided that he was leaving Kentucky and the Wildcats.

It was just last summer that Hickman had committed to Kentucky and then he signed with the school in November before re-opening his recruitment last month.

Just over two weeks later he inked a deal with Gonzaga, a team that was coming off a national runner-up finish in the NCAA Tournament

Gonzaga will be losing a number of key players for the upcoming season, among them Corey Kispert, Jalen Suggs and Joel Ayayi.

Those three players were huge reasons the team was able to put together a season in which they went wire-to-wire as the top team ranked in the country, as the club went 31-1.

Leading scorer Drew Timme and guard Andrew Nembhard could be back in 2021 which would be a major boost for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs rank No. 2 in the latest CBS Sports Top 25 (and one) from Gary Parrish and enter next season with one of the most complete rosters in college hoops.
