No Shock Here, Mahomes and Brady Top NFL Jersey Sales

Who are two of the first players you think about when it comes to the NFL? Of course, there will be varying answers, but two are at or near the top of the list for most people. That includes an aging quarterback and the current face of the league.

Their names: Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes.

The two play the most important position on the field, and both are really good at it. Therefore, it isn't surprising to see those two topping the jersey sales for the 2020 season, right? According to Fanatics, that is absolutely the case.

The Executive Chair for Fanatics, Michael Rubin, tweeted out on Friday that Mahomes and Brady lead in total sales for 2020.

Mahomes is the league's reigning MVP and won a Super Bowl last year. Brady, on the other hand, has more Super Bowls than any other quarterback in NFL history. And ... they're both in the playoffs which started on Saturday.

They combined for 9,373 passing yards, 78 touchdowns and only 18 interceptions this season. That put Mahomes at No. 2 and Brady at No. 3 in the league in passing yards. Pretty good, right?

People will always gravitate towards the most successful players.
