Nickelodeon Airing NFL With Bells and Whistles ... And Slime

As part of the push to keep the NFL popular with America's youth, today's playoff game between the Chicago Bears and New Orleans Saints is being simulcast on Nickelodeon (a sister network of CBS in the ViacomCBS family). The game is being broadcasted by Noah Eagle (son of Ian Eagle), Nate Burleson, and Nick star Gabrielle Nevaeh Green.

The telecast features some graphical bells and whistles familiar with the Nick audience, like a Sponge Bob Sports Pants introduction and an orange slime line for a first down marker:


















I'd be interested in what kids who are watching this on Nickelodeon feel about this. For this 34-year-old, it's a fun piece of nostalgia.
