Nick Saban Stars In New Mercedes Commercial

Nick Saban is part owner of a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Alabama. So it probably shouldn't come as a surprise that Saban is appearing in local Birmingham advertisements for the dealership.

But is it a bit of a surprise that Nick Saban is pretending to be a stunt car driver and showing off the acting chops at the end -- that Rick Flair-esque wooo is going to be mixed into so many Internet videos? Of course.

Three questions immediately come to mind:

1. How many Bama fans believe it's Nick Saban actually driving upside down in the car? Most of the 85%, right?

2. How many Bama fans are going to show up at the Mercedes-Benz dealership trying to meet Nick Saban there? I'm not kidding about this, there's probably a Gump somewhere right now with tons of Bama gear in the back of his truck headed to the dealership looking for autographs.

3. How about Saban's hair still being perfect when he takes the helmet off? I think this is my favorite part. He's theoretically driving upside down in a stunt car with a stunt driver helmet on. But do you think that messes up Nick Saban's hair? Of course not.

I've also come up with the perfect marketing slogan for Saban's Mercedes-Benz dealership.

"Hey, Alabama fans: It's not just your homes that are mobile. Come to Nick Saban Mercedes today."

Here's the commercial that evidently began airing last night.
