Nick Saban Is Livid About The Season-Opener Penalties, Sell Your House And Bet The Spread

Nick Saban hopped on his weekly radio show, clearly unhappy with Alabama's 38-19 win at Missouri. This is a great sign to bet the spread when Bama takes on Texas A&M at home tomorrow because this team should be ready to play.

Saban is often eccentric and difficult to please, and the team is likely to match his mood. Nothing portends a football bludgeoning like a pissed off Nick Saban.

However, Saban isn't necessarily being overly critical. His team really did struggle in their own ways last Saturday. The Crimson Tide committed seven penalties for 49 yards in the opener, including three false starts and a delay of game. Saban offered his players no excuses for their sloppy play:

"Some of my players were complaining the Missouri defensive lineman were barking out movements and things like that which was their excuse, at least, for some of the things that happened," Saban said.

Like Bill Belichick, Saban embraces accountability. The "do your job" slogan isn't exclusive to New England anymore. Saban is challenging his players just ahead of their showdown with the #13 ranked Texas A&M, and it's likely to work.

Mortgage the house

It's that time to pawn off that purse that your wife doesn't use anymore and throw it on Bama tomorrow. Opening up at BAMA -17.5, Alabama is going to come on like a bat out of hell, and after Saban's statements, they'll make sure to cover. Alabama is free money this weekend, and you should get in before it's too late!
