Nick Saban Has EPIC Response To Jimbo Fisher Trash Talk

We needed sports content to get us through the offseason, and so far, Jimbo Fisher AND Nick Saban are more than willing to oblige. The playful jabs between two old friends started with Fisher saying he was going to "beat his ass" before Saban retires.

That comment occurred during a recent appearance at the Houston Touchdown Club to boosters, but on Thursday, Saban finally caught wind of it. TV sports anchor Simone Eli with WKRG in Mobile asked the Alabama coach for his opinion on the jab. His response?

"In golf?" Saban hilariously replied.

You've got to see this. Check out the video.

When Eli laughed and clarified that the comment was in fact made about football -- which everyone, including Saban, knew -- he followed it up with, "Well, I'm sure there will come a day. But is that what he was talking about? Football?"

This is the content I'm here for.

We all thought these sorts of jabs would come from other coaches in the SEC. Look, Lane Kiffin and Mike Leach have got to step up their offseason trash talk game. We got the playful Saban-Fisher feud, which no one saw coming.

Hopefully the on-field product is as good as it has been off the field once these two teams face off on Oct. 9. Texas A&M finished as a top-4 team last year, but their one loss came against the Crimson Tide in another 3-plus score beatdown.
