High School Team Accidentally Dials Buccaneers Players, Including Tom Brady

Sure, you know what a butt dial is -- that thing only your mom and flip-phone users still do on the regular. But have you heard of a Buc dial? That's exactly what a Michigan high school basketball player inadvertently did when attempting to add a teammate to a FaceTime call. Instead of a teammate, he ended up with Tom Terrific and a handful of other Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"Everyone was skeptical, it’s definitely not an NFL player, right,"  Vinny Tartaglia, a freshman on the Notre Dame Prep hoops squad told ClickonDetroit.com.

Tartaglia had one digit wrong when attempting to add his teammate to a group FaceTime and wound up on the other end of a screen with Bucs defensive back Sean Murphy-Bunting. The NFL player realized the boys had phoned him by mistake and asked them if he knew who he was. They didn't, and he eventually told them his job differs quite a bit from their parents' 9-5.

Sensing they were skeptical, Murphy-Bunting fired off a selfie from the Tampa Bay locker room, sending the prep boys into a frenzy.

Murphy-Bunting then made the boys' day by staying on the call and coaxing players like Rob Gronkowski and Leonard Fournette to join in.

P. Jason Whalen, the school's counselor, has a son on the team and shared screen shots to Twitter that showed the boys' excitement. He also dropped news that the GOAT himself, Tom Brady, made an appearance on the coolest Michigan high school FaceTime call of all time.

Per Whalen, Fournette stayed on the call with the boys for about 10 minutes after they had asked to see Brady, who was in a meeting. To their delight, Brady eventually appeared on screen shouting, "What's up, fellas?".

Brady recognized how cool the moment must've been for the freshman, telling ESPN: "That was sweet. I didn't know who it was. said, 'Here's my boy' or whatever he said. It was nice. It would have been nice for me when I had been in high school too."

That's a pretty Buc'n cool FaceTime.
