Could Cost-Controlled Drew Lock Be A Linchpin To the QB Trade Market?

All anyone can talk about is Deshaun Watson and Matthew Stafford on the trade market. Considering they're both franchise quarterbacks, all the non-stop talk makes sense. But where do they end up?

That's the million dollar question right now.

We've seen Watson connected to the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers and several others. We've also seen teams such as the Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints linked to Stafford.

One thing is for sure: these two quarterbacks are going to set off a chain reaction within the quarterback market.

If the Jets or Dolphins get involved, what does that mean for young players such as Sam Darnold or Tua Tagovailoa? How about Jimmy Garoppolo, Jameis Winston and Taysom Hill? Does Jacob Eason factor into any of this? It's all a big puzzle, and destination matters.

But Mike Klis with 9News in Denver had an interesting take on Thursday. He believes the Broncos might have the top trade-market commodity of any team seeking Watson or Stafford. His name? Drew Lock, the former second-round pick out of Missouri.
