Colin Cowherd Makes Prediction On Aaron Rodgers' Future
Colin Cowherd became the latest media personality to share an opinion on the weekly drama surrounding Aaron Rodgers. And if you believe the Fox Sports radio host, Green Bay's starting signal caller will stay right where he is. "He's going back to Green Bay," Cowherd told his radio audience.
Cowherd based his prediction on Rodgers' demeanor throughout Tuesday's "The Match" golf event which paired Rodgers with PGA pro Bryson DeChambeau in a head-to-head with Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady.
“Aaron has come to terms with it. He’s going back to Green Bay… It looked too casual, too jokey and too fun,” said Cowherd.
The popular radio host isn't wrong - at least about Rodgers' casual, jokey, fun demeanor. ARod spent most of "The Match" laughing with Tom Brady, and he brushed off a question from television announcer Brian Anderson, who asked about whether he'd be under center in Green Bay this fall:
Rodgers replied to Anderson by saying: “I don’t know, BA. We’ll see…I’m just out here trying to have a good time with Tom.”
Though fans of the Pack surely hope Cowherd's opinion comes to fruition, they should know that the host of The Herd with Colin Cowherd doesn't have the greatest track record in terms of bold predictions:
Rodgers and the Packers have just over two months to prove Cowherd right or wrong. Green Bay opens the regular season at New Orleans on September 12th.
