NFL Week 13 Betting Picks

Where are the money-making opportunities on the Week 13 NFL betting slate? Here's a breakdown of two matchups that have the potential to fatten your wallet.

Houston Texans vs. Buffalo Bills

The Texans (6-5) are currently tied atop the AFC South with the Indianapolis Colts, who are visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Sunday Night Football game. Houston is riding a four-game winning streak both straight up and against the spread and has the opportunity to move into sole possession of first place with another victory at Buffalo (5-6) combined with an Indy loss at Pittsburgh. The Bills have lost the last three meetings with the Texans SU and ATS.

Buffalo's playoff chances are dwindling with virtually no shot at winning the AFC East because the New England Patriots need only one more win to clinch the division title. This is a very tough test at home for head coach Rex Ryan's team off three consecutive road games, which the Bills will fail with a 1-4 mark SU and ATS in their previous five games as favorites.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee Titans

The Texans are not the only AFC South team that could benefit from a win and Colts loss on Sunday night. The Jaguars (4-7) still hope to stay in contention for the division crown and can do that with a road victory against the struggling Titans (2-9). Jacksonville has dominated the series with Tennessee lately, sporting an 8-1-1 ATS mark in the past 10 meetings.

The Titans have also lost their last 11 home games while going 1-9 ATS in their previous 10 matchups with divisional opponents. Tennessee is coming off a 24-21 home loss to the Oakland Raiders last week in a game many thought the team would win to break its skid at Nissan Stadium. But rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota continues to be a work in progress for the Titans, who have seen him surprisingly perform worse at home with at least one interception in every game there this season. Mariota has yet to throw a pick on the road.
