Thursday Night Football kicked off with a win for the Cowboys and now we have the main slate ahead of us. This week has a few intriguing matchups, both in divisional play and out of it. Let’s get to the games and see how we can make a profitable Sunday.

Buccaneers at Falcons

Tom Brady comes to Atlanta to take on the Falcons. How many times will the Super Bowl be mentioned? You’ll be drunk if you take a shot every time it is, I can tell you that much. I’m not sure how many Falcons are leftover from that appearance, outside of Matt Ryan, but eventually, the conversation needs to stop. Anyway, Brady is going to do what he does on a regular basis which is dominate the game. The Bucs are superior to the Falcons in every phase of the game. There are very few position players I’d even say that the Falcons have an advantage on. This is a high total, but the Buccaneers should win this game easily and by two touchdowns. It is never fun betting against an inter-division home dog, but Brady and the Bucs are too good to take the points in this. Lay -10.5 at -106 with the Bucs.

Colts at Texans

The Colts have really started stepping it up on offense. In the last five games, they have scored at least 23 points and over 30 in four of their last five. The team seems to be on a roll offensively even if their defense isn’t exactly shutting people down. For the Texans, they look slightly more competent than they once did, but they’ve still lost four of their last five games. The Texans also have won just one time in the last seven meetings. It seems like TY Hilton always looks forward to playing the Texans as well. I’m taking the Colts to win this game by the two scores, but I don’t know if it will be by two touchdowns or a touchdown and a field goal. Feel free to take the -10, but I just expect points to be scored. This is an opportunity for an over 44.5 at -110.

Football Team at Raiders

I don’t think the Washington Football Team is good – there isn’t anything bad about them, but I don’t know that they are good enough to travel across the country after a short week in order to beat the Raiders or even cover a field goal. The Raiders are rested having played last on Thanksgiving and also coming off a victory. This seems like a great spot, even against a good Washington defense, for the Raiders to win this game. If you want to play the moneyline, it is available at -120. That is pretty reasonable. I also think they cover the game by a field goal or more. My play will be on the points. I’m taking the Raiders -1.5 at -106.
