NFL Week 11 Betting Picks

Where are the money-making opportunities on the Week 11 NFL betting slate? Here's a breakdown of two matchups that have the potential to fatten your wallet on Sunday.

Rams vs. Ravens

The Ravens (2-7) have won three of the past four meetings with the Rams (4-5) and will be poised to avoid consecutive home losses here. Baltimore should have won last Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but a penalty called on the final play of the game gave their opponent an opportunity to kick the game-winning field goal. The Jaguars converted, and the NFL later admitted the officials were wrong to call the penalty. Now Baltimore gets to take out its frustrations on a St. Louis team giving Case Keenum his first start at quarterback this year.

The Rams are just 3-10 against the spread in their last 13 games in Week 11, and head coach Jeff Fisher's decision to bench Nick Foles in favor of Keenum is a desperation move. The trade for Foles has turned out to be a disaster, and an otherwise solid team is paying the price for it with a huge hole at arguably the most important position in football. On the other side, the Ravens have Joe Flacco, who has won a Super Bowl and kept them in almost every game this season. Side with the more experienced quarterback to get the home team a win and cover as small home favorites at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Jets vs. Texans

The Texans (4-5) are coming off a big win on Monday Night Football, upsetting the previously unbeaten Cincinnati Bengals 10-6 as double-digit road underdogs. But they must now host the struggling yet hungry Jets (5-4), who have dropped three of four following a 4-1 start. New York is coming off a disappointing 22-17 home loss to the Buffalo Bills last Thursday night, giving the team extra time to recover and prepare for this matchup with Houston.

One key player who has been cleared to play for the Jets is quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick after he practiced with his surgically repaired thumb. Fitzpatrick is a Harvard graduate and knows the Texans very well from his time as their signal caller last year. He will be ready for his former team, unlike Houston quarterback Brian Hoyer, who was not cleared to play due to a concussion suffered against the Bengals. That means T.J. Yates is likely to start in his place and face a New York defense which will pressure him and force him into mistakes. The Jets have won five of the past six meetings straight-up and ATS and will make it six of seven.
