NFL To Bring Back Draft Rooms, We Kinda Liked Kliff Kingsbury’s Living Room Though

With NFL teams back allowed in facilities with proper COVID-19 in place, the 2021 Draft is already looking a little less exciting than the 2020 draft.

During the virtual 2020 NFL Draft, the world got to see moments like Arizona Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury hanging out in his cool bachelor pad.

The virtual draft allowed for viewers to see Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones making picks from his yacht, too.

The 2020 NFL draft — which was the first virtual installment of the draft, ever — brought cybersecurity and general user and connectivity concerns, especially surrounding the security of picks and selections. The NFL had it covered!

While the rest of the world was home, so were coaches and management and the 2020 draft gave us that sneak peek.

NFL Network reports teams will be back in their draft rooms in time for the 2021 selection and able to draft at their facilities, as long as physical distancing and proper mask-wearing protocols are followed.

There will be cameras on the coach and GM, but it won’t provide as personal of a view.

Although the 2021 NFL Draft returning to a normal approach is a sign of normalcy, the virtual draft brought amazing moments like Patriots head coach Bill Belichick’s dog.
