NFL Relaxes Number Rules

The NFL will finally relax their number rules after the owners just passed a vote, according to NFL reporter Albert Breer. Now receivers won't be expected to wear 81, and we can finally see a Vince Wilfork-esque big man rock #24.

This will absolutely boost jersey sales, which we're sure is the point. Sometimes rules don't make any sense, and this was one of those crappy rules that no one understood.

One thing we know for certain: Plenty of players will be heading to their front office to officially demand a new number. DeVonta Smith wore No. 6 in college, and now that's possible with the Miami Dolphins. Just sayin'.
