NFL Mock Draft: Trevor Lawrence, Then Who?

We are down to four teams — the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills in the AFC, and Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC. Everyone else? Yeah, they’re dreaming off the offseason.

That means the 2021 NFL Draft. New coach Urban Meyer and the Jacksonville Jaguars have the top pick. The entire world seems to know they are taking Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

But how might the first round play out? Here’s one alleged writer’s list of surely many to come on this very website:

    • Tim, as a fellow cowboys fan I agree. We haven’t had a good secondary in years (maybe decades) but once we overpay Dak I don’t know if it will matter. 10 years of .500 ball in our future.

  1. Another round of first round QB’s to flop in the next four years. At my age it’s impossible to get excited about “next.” How about more “prove it?” Of course, that doesn’t fit with the 365 day hype machine that needs daily fuel. I can remember when the games were the actual excitement and point of the leagues.
