NFL Draft Giving Vegas Another Go

The 2020 NFL Draft was originally set to take place in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic put those plans on pause, forcing the event to go completely virtual last year. Now it looks like the city will get another crack at playing host.

Adam Schefter with ESPN is reporting that the 2022 NFL Draft is now scheduled for April 28-30 in Las Vegas. He tweeted out that news on Monday morning, to the delight of many fans after the dismal weather in Cleveland this past weekend.

I don't know about you, but I'm booking flights and hotels right now.

Imagine how great it's going to feel crushing those NFL draft prop bets while raking on the blackjack table. Granted, the more likely scenario would be for me to lose a bunch of money and come home even more broke than usual, but at least I'll get to see the draft live.

In all seriousness, hosting the draft in Vegas is the perfect storm for the NFL.
