New York Times Defends Obama Bash Because His Friends are ‘Sophisticated’

Since Barack Obama can host a large, maskless birthday bash, you’re probably wondering whether you can too. The answer, however, is an emphatic no. You and your friends are just not as sophisticated as Obama and his friends are. At least, not according to the New York Times.

New York Times White House correspondent Annie Karni defended Obama’s Martha’s Vineyard celebration by saying his guests were all smart and “sophisticated.”

Ohhhh, that’s why. The rest of us aren’t smart enough. Got it.

A Times writer, whose salary may come from China, defending Obama’s privilege to Jim Acosta is as good as it gets. You can’t find a more liberal elite segment than this. It’s almost perfect.

Candace Owens said on Sunday that she learned that “at least two” of the attendees at Obama’s birthday were not vaccinated.

I’ll take the over. Obama’s friends can’t spread the Delta variant, anyway. They are too advanced.

“What happened to all the concerns about vaccinated people passing Delta to the unvaccinated?” Glenn Greenwald asked about the CNN clip.

According to Obama, since he scaled the event back to just 200 people, there were no such concerns. Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Bradley Cooper, and Steven Spielberg were among the elites in attendance.

Why do we support and idolize these people? All of them: media members, celebrities, and politicians. They look down on you. Karni’s view of “sophisticated” is shared all through this elite group. In their minds, it’s not “rules for thee but not for me.” That phrase is overused and inaccurate. Instead, elites feel they are helping the rest of us, that we need rules to protect ourselves. By contrast, they don’t need restrictions — their sophisticated minds give them the deserved freedom to assess their own risks.

  1. Well said – Bobby. I personally fully believe in vaccinations for the health and safety of myself and my family, yet I am extremely disappointed (though not surprised) by the Obama crowd’s double-standards and elitist view of looking down on people’s personal choices and freedom while exercising hypocrisy in applying such double standards.

  2. Good for Obama. He had a grand party with a large crowd, on a 12 million dollar estate. Good food, great weather, sophisticated people, no masks, excellent drugs. It was a celebrated and admired event. I hope the elites had a great time. In Sturgis the deplorable rode motorcycles, drank good beer, had good fellowship in their own deplorable fashion. It was a “super spreader” event only the stupid and unwashed attended. Second class citizens, for sure. Just goes to show you, black privilege is real, the elites are better than the rest of us. In 2021 that is the America we live in. Can we take it back? Doubtful, even the deplorables think the country is not worth saving. The elites own, run, and direct the country. Get used to it. Now, you may like Communism, but if you don’t stop it now, you will never get freedom and liberty back. America has more second class citizens than it does elites, but the elites are winning. America Matters. Good Luck America. *spit* on the elites.

    • I voted in several states in 2020, because that is the way it is done. That must be the reason my Obama Birthday Party invitation got lost in the mail. I will check my Kenyan address to see if it was sent there. You know the USPS has issues. America Matters.

  3. Every “liberal” regardless of skin color considers him/her/its self to THE Most Intellectually Superior Person in any room he/she/it finds itself in ….

Image the confusion -therefore – with a gathering of 500 such superior beings under one tent ????? YOWSA!

  4. Even if there turns out to be a large breakout of COVID that is traced back to Barry and Big Mike’s big bash the media won’t say one negative word about them. There are two sets of rules, if you haven’t figured that out yet there’s no hope for you. As for Dr. Flip flop shit talking Sturgis, they tried to do the same thing last year but after the rally they could only trace back 15 cases because of it so it was a big nothing burger. The rally is outside for Christ’s sake. They just had Lalapoluza in Chicago and no one said shit about that. Two sets of rules folks. Haves and have nots. Until we say enough is enough.

  5. Jay-Z and Beyonce are “sophisticated”? The same guy who rapped about dealing poison to his own people, murdering brothas, that guy. I digress. For the last time, money doesn’t equal class. Just because folks are wealthy doesn’t mean they have any class.
