New Vikings CB Patrick Peterson Is Selling The Perfect Arizona Retirement House

Patrick Peterson's long career in Arizona has come to an end. The 30-year-old cornerback has signed a new one-year, $10 million deal with the Minnesota Vikings just days after listing his incredible Scottsdale house that features six bedrooms and eight bathrooms spread over 7,446 sq. ft. Let's put it this way, it's the exact house I'd buy if Arizona is my destination after retiring from OutKick.

Peterson's house is for sale with an asking price of $3,185,000.

Does my family need 7,400 sq. ft. and all those bedrooms? No, but start scrolling through the photos and get a look at the golf simulator and putting greens Peterson had installed. That's what I'm talking about right there. Heaven! Do I care about random living rooms that never get used? Absolutely not. Do I need a shower that could fit 6-10 people? Not that I know of, but that golf and pool setup keep calling my name. Nothing else matters.

Let's say I hit a massive FanDuel 30-1 payout one of these days -- I'm taking a copy of Peterson's house to a builder.

From Patrick's realtor, Ericka Lassiter with The Agency:

Imagine coming home to this gorgeous house in the guard gated community of Equestrian Manor Estates in Scottsdale. This stunning 6-bedroom, 8-bathroom 4-car garage home giving you over 7, 400 sq. ft. of spacious elegance, offers amazing features such as a walk-in wine cellar with a massive home bar perfect for displaying your favorite spirits, while entertaining in style. From the open-concept living space with exposed decorative ceiling beams with plenty of room for the whole family to enjoy while sitting in front of the fireplace or sitting at the counter in the gourmet chef's kitchen with a Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer, Viking gas range and ovens, large walk-in pantry, 2 dishwashers, warming drawer and a center trough sink with usable prep space.

There is also a wide range of cabinets and drawers that are placed systematically all over the kitchen for dinnerware, utensils, gadgets and kitchen accessories. There is substantial room in all bedrooms, each room has a bathroom & walk-in closet. The owner's suite has a fireplace, large sitting area perfect for lounging, huge walk-in shower, separate bathtub, separate his and hers luxurious walk-in closets and toilets, exercise room with a spacious walk-in steam room and double doors that lead to the outdoor oasis.

Multiple guest quarters, with one that is currently being used as sports room with golf simulator the other serves as a guest house with full bath, walk-in closet, microwave and views to back yard that include a sports court, covered patio, full outdoor kitchen, relaxing ramada, water-slide into refreshing pool, jacuzzi, 2 golf putting greens, artificial turf in front and backyard, other features include 2 areas to cuddle up to a cozy fireplace with a good book or your favorite drink. Surrounded by beautiful trees and plants.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, but where's the nearest Whole Foods? 2.6 miles. What about Starbucks? 2.7. TPC Scottsdale? 5.7 miles. Guys, Peterson's house is in the heart of it all. Food, coffee, Starbucks, golf. Nearest liquor store? 5.8 miles!

Mortgage: $11,000 or so before figuring in the air-con costs. The yard appears to be maintenance-free so that's nice.
