New Tony Hawk Pro Skater Soundtrack Is Fire

So this is pretty cool for people of a certain age: Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 are getting packaged together and re-released on X Box One, Playstation 4, and PC on September 4th. Given that I got washed up on video games by the time I got my drivers license and couldn’t spacially adjust to them after they went 3D in the first X Box era, the more intriguing part of this news to me is that they’re also releasing a soundtrack that melds classic songs from the first two games with new music from today.

What you wind up with is a playlist that of course includes Superman  by Goldfinger and songs by other artists of the 90’s and 00’s like Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, MXPX, Bad Religion, Rage Against the Machine, A Tribe Called Quest, Sublime, Papa Roach, and The Ataris. There are also new names like Machine Gun Kelly and FIDLAR.
