Yahoo Sports’ Shams Charania has reported that Nets star Kevin Durant will not play against the Jazz tomorrow night “due to COVID restrictions.” We don’t want to say that KD pulled up to a club for some wings, but these protocols are getting annoying.
Nets star Kevin Durant is listed out Tuesday vs. Utah due to NBA’s coronavirus health and safety protocols.

We won’t hold our breath for more details on what Durant actually did. Chances are that he went to a dinner or a get together, like an adult would, and he’s being punished by emperor Adam Silver.
Update:
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski has updated the report to say Durant will face a 7-day quarantine because he’s still registering antibodies.
Kevin Durant’s facing a 7-day quarantine under league protocols because of exposure to a positive COVID-19 case, sources tell ESPN. He had the coronavirus in May, continues to register antibodies and has tested negative in multiple recents tests. He’d miss 4 games in next week. https://t.co/HFHFKHolte

So KD doesn’t have COVID and that’s been proven by passing multiple tests, yet he’ll still miss four games? Ridiculous.
Hopefully Adam Silver remedies this situation because players who aren’t sick shouldn’t miss that many games.
