Nephew Of Peyton And Eli Manning Getting Plenty Of Looks

It sounds like another Manning is ready to dominate the gridiron sooner rather than later, as the nephew of former NFL quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning is being recruited by a number of high profile programs across the country.

Arch Manning is ranked as one of the best players at the QB position in the country by the likes of 247Sports. He's also ranked number three overall.

As of now, the recruitment of Manning is off to a slow start, but the family is expecting things to pick up as the youngster starts to make decisions on his future.

“I’ve been talking with a bunch of coaches,” Manning said, via 247Sports National Analyst Steve Wiltfong.

“Coach (Steve) Sarkisian at Texas, Coach (Jake) Peetz and Coach (Ed) Orgeron at LSU, and I’ve gotten the opportunity to talk with Coach (Nick) Saban too.

"Really all those guys are good at what they do, and they’re great to talk to. And it’s just been great to get the relationships and bonds already."

Manning is getting some pressure from fellow five-star recruit Rueben Owens to join him at the University of Texas, where Owens is already committed to play.

The good news is that Manning and current Texas coach Steve Sarkisian reportedly have a good relationship.

We will see if Manning makes the decision to attend Texas, or if there's another school in the running that will lure him away.
