Uh Oh, Ohio State COVID Rumors Heating Up

If the rumor is true, things could get real interesting on the conference championship COVID front. Ohio State media outlets are on pins and needles over a report from SiriusXM's Rick Neuheisel. The rumor from Neuheisel is that an OSU "star wide receiver" has tested positive for COVID.

A "star wide receiver" would indicate two names would be in play here: Garrett Wilson or Chris Olave. Wilson has 572 receiving yards and five touchdowns while Olave has 528 yards and five touchdowns.

ABC-6 sports director Clay Hall is reporting Ohio State "confirms no change in status" for the team or title game. The Buckeyes have a scheduled practice this afternoon before a Friday flight to Indianapolis for Saturday's Big Ten title game.
