Nick Saban In Midseason Form After Bama's Failed Trick Play
During Alabama's A-Game, Nick Saban was mic'ed up and it provided some quality entertainment during the Crimson Tide spring scrimmage.
The first-team offense — Team White — ran a trick play during the scrimmage, with wide receiver Slade Bolden tasked with throwing the pass.
MSN Sports reports that Bolden was a wildcat quarterback in high school, so Saban was likely looking for a usable play that he didn't get as Bolden was forced into a back-foot throw that landed well short of its intended target.
“Slade, I can throw it behind my back better than that,” Saban said. “I can flip it behind my back …”
It appears that Bolden replies, “I didn’t want to throw a pick.”
