Clay: Hey Look, Fauci Dead Wrong About College Football

Here's some news that may not shock you -- it appears Dr. Anthony Fauci was wrong.

More specifically, Fauci said that college football stadiums were likely to serve as superspreaders for COVID-19. He said the virus would "feast" on fans.

We've already written how that's proven to be false.

But now, OutKick founder Clay Travis has presented more evidence, via a graphic from Ian Miller, that Fauci is no public health expert.

"It’s incredible how wrong Fauci was about COVID feasting on college football fans," Clay tweeted.

Miller's graphic pointed out the obvious.

"Cases in the South are down 81% since Fauci said he didn’t think it was smart to have full college football stadiums," he wrote. "I sincerely don’t know if it’s possible to have a more unblemished track record of inaccuracy than Dr. Anthony Fauci does."

This is a heartbreaking blow to coronabros, who seemed to be rooting against college football and in favor of more cases. It is, after all, often more about being right than actually caring about the pandemic.

And it's not just about the SEC or Big 12.

"The large crowds expand far beyond the south, with college football stadiums seeing full crowds across the country, proving that most people are over the hysteria," wrote OutKick's Nick Geddes. "The result has been an electric atmosphere at games that was missing in 2020."

What it hasn't been is the superspreader that Fauci promised and much of the mainstream media has believed and promoted.
