NCAAF Week 9 Best Bets
We hit another underdog last week and are looking to have another nice weekend at the expense of your bookie. Let's take a look at a side, over, under, and underdog to bet on this weekend in college football.
Bowling Green at Buffalo
I'm returning once again to my Buffalo Bulls. Last week, we took them to cover at Akron and we nailed it. This week we get a similar situation where they should easily handle a bad Bowling Green team. Buffalo can score with ease both through the air and on the ground. The last three games Bowling Green has given up at least 34 points to opponents. Winning by two touchdowns should not be a problem for the Bulls. Play Buffalo -13.5 at -110.
Boise State at Colorado State
Boise State travels to Colorado and we have a nice opportunity to play an over on this game. Boise is giving up almost 200 rushing yards a game and Colorado State has an effective running game. I'm looking at Boise to also take advantage of a Colorado State secondary that is good but not great enough to stop the passing attack. I think there will be points scored in the game. Take over 51.5 at -110.
I have a secondary play on this game as well. I think Colorado State has a great shot at beating Boise State in this one. I really like the chances that Colorado State has to push the ball across the field using their running game. If they can force even one interception or turnover, I think that sets them up for a win. Play Colorado State at +114. It isn't much of an underdog, but I still like it.
Hawaii at Utah State
Hawaii comes to the contiguous United States for a matchup with Utah State. I think the total in this one has gone too high though. Neither team is particularly good on defense, but offensively, I think they need a bit of work before we say that they can consistently put up points. In the last ten game these teams have played in this season, there have been two that exceeded 65.5 points. I'm playing under 65.5 at -112.
