NCAAB Best Bets for Saturday, November 13, 2021

Last night we had a full schedule of games in college basketball and today is another as it is the opening weekend for the teams. Last night we went 2-1, today, lets’ try and sweep ‘em all as we give some of the best bets for the day.

Campbell at Duke

Duke rewarded us last night in the young season, let’s head back there for another play on tonight’s matchup. It is somewhat rare that college teams have to play back-to-back nights, but in this case, I don’t see it really being much of a struggle for Duke. They’ve looked sharp and connected so far, and tonight they face a team that they probably would be laying around 27 if they hadn’t just played last night. Last night you saw a much more balanced attack from the Blue Devils, with four players scoring in double figures. I’m taking them again to cover the spread against a Campbell team that also played last night and now goes into the hostile Cameron Indoor Stadium. Duke -21.5 at -114.

Georgia at Cincinnati

Say what you will about the college football playoff system, but it is interesting to finally see a non-power conference in a big game against one of the SEC elite… Oh wait, this is college basketball. Sorry. Terrible jokes aside, this game correlates with football in one way, it should be a defensive matchup. Both teams have only played one game, and neither total hit over 110. Tonight, they have a matchup that has a total of 137.5 and I don’t think it should get that close. I’m getting somewhere around a 70 – 62 matchup, so we have a 5 point room there. Neither team is particularly great at anything and if it is a close game late, look for teams to ramp up the defensive pressure and help our cause. Play the under at -112.

Texas at Gonzaga

This should be a fun one. Gonzaga, the number one ranked team in the country, hosts the number five ranked team, Texas. Gonzaga has their new toy, Chet Holmgren, and he already looks like he fits well into the Gonzaga system. Chris Beard has taken over the Texas program and he likes to push the pace a bit as well as play guys that hustle. Having watched his teams the last few years, he seems to like guys that are hard workers, but is also willing to let some of them take chances on the floor. Both teams can put it in the bucket, and there will be a lot of talent there tonight. I like the over 150.5 in this game at -106. I expect both teams to be difficult to score on, but there should be stretches where the ball is flying through the hoop on both sides.
