NCAA Tourney Gambling Picks For Sunday

I'm not gonna lie, Sister Jean stole my soul yesterday.

That 97 year old nun dunked on me so hard -- all balls in the face Scottie Pippen on Patrick Ewing style -- that I think I'm still concussed.

As that Loyola of Chicago missed jump shot improbably bounded high into the air, hit the top of the backboard and then bounced back into the other side of the rim before dropping into the net -- seriously, how often does a shot like this go in to win a game like this, ever? -- I nearly collapsed. I felt just like that little girl from Tennessee in the overalls.

Even this morning when I woke up, the first thing I thought was -- my soul is gone. I think Sister Jean may have even Benjamin Button'd me, she's going to keep getting younger and I'm going to die in like a year.

So I come to these final eight picks of the first and second round of the NCAA Tournament with almost nothing left. It's only because I have amazing mental fortitude and absolute grit that I'm even up this morning giving eight more picks. A lesser man would be dead.

But I am not a lesser man. (Not yet, anyway).

Our picks are now 19-20-1. The difference between a winning and a losing record? That godawful late three at the buzzer by Seton Hall which was total garbage and just added to the misery yesterday.

But we're going 8-0 today.

So let's finish the opening weekend of the NCAA tournament strong.

A&M vs. UNC, the over 151.5

UMBC +10 vs. Kansas State

Purdue -4 vs. Butler

Michigan State -9.5 vs. Syracuse

Nevada +9 vs. Cincinnati

Xavier -5.5 vs. FSU

Marshall +12.5 vs. West Virginia

Auburn -1.5 vs. Clemson
