One NBA Player Out Of 549 Tested Positive For COVID

Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania is reporting that one NBA player out of 549 tested positive for COVID. That's a .0018% clip that proves we can live outside a bubble if we're careful. We're also shocked that that one player wasn't James Harden.

NBA players are free to come and go from their facilities, and yet they still managed to pass COVID tests with ease. Yes, the Orlando bubble worked seamlessly, but we should take note of this week's results. Operating a safe but open life is the way to go moving forward.

Hopefully, the NBA proves to society that we don't need to live scared. Maybe stripping the rights of Americans could've been avoided with some simple advice: Just be careful.

After all, that's what the NBA players were told to do.
