NBA Same Game Parlay for Tuesday, November 16, 2021

We have a short slate in the NBA tonight with just three matchups going. One of the fun things about these Tuesday night games is the promotion from FanDuel offering essentially a free $10 bet. Basically, you bet a $10 or more Same Game Parlay and FanDuel will give you a $10 site credit for you placing the bet.

We are going to start with Game 1 on TNT, the Warriors at Brooklyn. This is a battle between two teams that are ranked in the top five with odds for winning the championship. Curry has been lights out this season and looking like a legitimate MVP candidate again, while Durant has been carrying the Nets to their start and leading the league in scoring. Expect that to continue tonight.

This is basically free money, so I’m going to try and play some longer shots to make this as profitable as possible. I’m going to take the Nets to win the first half of this game. The Warriors are 0-4 ATS on the road this year in the first half of games. The Nets aren’t significantly better, but they are better. I also think the Warriors win the game. The Nets really have struggled against the upper echelon teams in the NBA. The Warriors haven’t beaten really anyone great this season, but coming off the loss and looking for something to prove, I like the Warriors to win the game even if they struggle to start. That double result pays +600.

Patty Mills is my next stop here. Mills should see increased minutes with Joe Harris out for the game. In the last game, Mills had over 20 points after playing 30+ minutes when Harris left the game. I expect him to be involved a lot more in the offense tonight and with his low-ish total of 12.5, I like him to score 13+ points.

I’m going to play James Harden to get under 7.5 rebounds tonight as well. Harden has racked up double-digit rebounds in just four games this season. Two were against Detroit, one was against Toronto, and one against the Magic. Harden may have lost a step, or be figuring out how he plays within this team, but he still is really talented. I expect him to have to stay further out tonight by the three-point line as he needs to guard Curry or Jordan Poole who live by the three-point line. There is very little room for error here, but I’ll take it anyway.

The last play I’m adding to this is Curry to have over 9.5 assists – this is a complete long shot and if you still want a plus money play on this, I’d advise you to take over 6.5 as I think 7 assists is much more realistic. This season Curry has played in four road games this season. He has 10 assists in three of them. This really isn’t enough data to base the call on, but again, these are “free” plays because we get our money back if they lose.

Parlay:

Total odds: +14468. A $10 bet pays $1,446.80. If you swap out Curry for over 6.5 assists your odds go to +2728 that pays $631.63. Not a bad return for $10.
