NBA Player Prop Parlay for Tuesday, January 4, 2022

The NBA has been very interesting lately with random players coming onto the floor due to COVID-related circumstances and some teams finally getting back to full health. Tonight, rather than a Same Game Parlay, we are going to do a player prop parlay.

First, we start with Fred VanVleet who has been on a tear since returning from health and safety protocols. VanVleet has had back-to-back 30 point games and is averaging 20 points per game on the season. Against a team that is dealing with its own missing point guard, the Spurs, I expect VanVleet to keep up his hot shooting and drop over 21 points. He may not reach 30 as he has the past two games, but he should be able to make an impact in this game and get over 21. In the last four games he’s played he has 27 or more points. Most of VanVleet’s points come from behind the arc, but the Spurs allow shooters to shoot 35% from deep.

Domantas Sabonis has been the rumor of trade speculation for quite some time now, but there really hasn’t been any movement on it. While he still may be shipped off, right now he is here and he’s been playing pretty well for the Pacers. Tonight, he should score, rebound, and even may get a couple of assists, but I don’t think he reaches 40, so we have some cushion at under 41.5 points, rebounds, and assists. Sure, last game he went bonkers against the Cavs and had 52 PRA. And, he got over this total in the game against the Bulls. Aside from that, in his last 13 total games, he’s gotten over 41.5 in just three games. In three games against the Knicks this year, he hasn’t gone over 40. In fact, he’s only done it twice in his career against the Knicks.

Tyrese Haliburton might be the best point guard on the Kings roster. In my opinion, it makes sense for the Kings to go trade De’Aaron Fox and leave Haliburton to run things. Tonight, he gets a matchup against the Lakers, a team that is playing better defense, but not great defense. Haliburton could score 20 on the Lakers, even if he does take less shots now that Fox is back. He has been racking up assists lately though. He’s had double digit assists in eight of his last nine games. He’s gone over 10 points in eight of his last nine games too. I’ll play over his 23.5 points and assists total tonight.

Finally, I’m adding Jarrett Allen over 10.5 rebounds. Memphis is good at a lot of things, however, Steven Adams looks pretty uninterested or hurt or something when he is out there. He doesn’t look like what we saw in Oklahoma City, that’s for certain. Allen is full of energy and already grabbed 19 boards in his first two games back. I like him to go over 10.5 rebounds for the Cavs tonight that is rested and will need to outwork a talented Memphis team.

Total Parlay:

Total odds: +1112, a $10 bet pays $111.23. Good luck to us all.
