NBA Draft Round 1: Recap

The 2022 NBA Draft was off to a fast start when the Orlando Magic selected Duke’s Paolo Banchero first overall, shattering the majority of pre-draft predictions that were bullish on Auburn’s Jabari Smith.

More surprises, and trades, ensued during Thursday’s draft night.
