There is a pretty full slate tonight for the playoffs in the NBA tonight. Four games, three of which are elimination games, all go tonight with only one guaranteed to reach another day (Mavericks vs Clippers). Here are a few bets that look like good opportunities for us to gain some money. For the record, I don’t enjoy soccer, but there is still money to be made if you have data and a strategy that backs up the information you’ve found, it is worth a bet. Play the NBA with the same thought in mind.

Wizards vs 76ers

Three of the four games have gone over tonight’s posted total of 230. Some shops have the total at 229.5 after about 25% of the money has come in on it despite having 50% of the tickets on it. What does that mean? It usually signals that the money that is on the game is coming from the sharps. The Wizards are very familiar with high-scoring games and the 76ers can score in bunches. I think this game eventually gets out of control for the Wizards and the 76ers win in a high-scoring affair. Take the over.

Memphis vs. Jazz

Memphis has made this a somewhat enjoyable and close series. Too bad it will end tonight. The Jazz look to close out the series at home tonight and as current 9.5 point favorites the books don’t think there should be much of a struggle. Three of the four games have gone over tonight’s posted total, but I don’t see it happening. I’m leaning towards the under. I’m looking at one of my favorite prop bets to place every night – Jaren Jackson Jr. to hit 2+ threes in the game at -136. He hit three last game, and has hit only one in each of the first three games. While that doesn’t give me much faith in this, I think he will keep trying to assert himself into the game as this is likely to be his last action until next season.

Mavericks vs. Clippers

Luka looked like a mere mortal in the last game of this series. Did the Clippers finally figure him out? Probably not. I think it is more likely that this was a bad game and he gets back to dropping 30+ points on the Clippers. I’m taking the over on his point total at 28.5 for -118 and also will sprinkle 35+ points at +290 because I feel like there is a lot of value on this.
