Nashville Radio News and NFL Gambling Picks

I'm headed over to Army-Navy this morning, but here are the gambling picks from the crew at OddsShark.

Yesterday, in case you missed it, we had a fun Outkick show live on Periscope and Facebook with Kirk Herbstreit.

Here's that video:

Also, good news on the new Outkick the Coverage radio show, we officially start in Nashville on Monday morning. The show will air live from 5-8 am central time on 1510 WLAC AM. So adjust your presets accordingly if you're in your car driving in to work or school on Monday.

Okay here are OddsShark's NFL gambling picks for the weekend:

Out of the 14 NFL games slated for Sunday in Week 14, six of them are divisional showdowns, but only three feature two teams that could possibly make the playoffs this season. That makes for a few intriguing matchups with a lot on the line, so bettors should definitely take notice. With motivation obviously a key handicapping angle at this time of year, here are this week's picks.

Texans at Colts (-6) (Sun, 1 p.m. ET) – Matchup Report

Indianapolis (6-6) is 13-1 straight up in the past 14 home meetings with Houston (6-6). The Colts also got back on track in a big way on Monday night, blowing out the New York Jets 41-10 in the return of quarterback Andrew Luck from a concussion. Brock Osweiler outplayed Luck as the Texans rallied to win 26-23 in overtime in the first meeting back in Week 6. Look for Luck to return the favor in an easy win.

Saints at Buccaneers (-2.5) (Sun, 4:25 p.m. ET) – Matchup Report

New Orleans (5-7) has won eight of the last nine meetings with Tampa Bay (7-5), which is much-improved this time around though. The Buccaneers have covered the spread in three of the previous four games versus the Saints and have finally started playing better at home with a huge win over the Seattle Seahawks in their last game there. Take Tampa Bay to cover again.

Cowboys (-3) at Giants (Sun, 8:30 p.m. ET) – Matchup Report

Dallas (11-1) lost to New York (8-4) by one point in the regular-season opener and has won 11 in a row since then. However, the Cowboys have failed to cover the spread in two straight now after starting the season 9-0-1 against the spread. The Giants are coming off a 24-14 road loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers as 6.5-point underdogs last week and appear to be undervalued in this spot. New York is 3-1 ATS in its last four as a home underdog and will come through again here to put some doubt in a Dallas team that many believe is the Super Bowl favorite this year.
