Monday Night Trend: Colts 17-1 ATS After a Loss

Special to Outkick the Coverage from OddsShark.com

If you blindly bet the Indianapolis Colts in every game after they lost since late 2011, you'd have a wallet full of cash.

In 18 games since December 2011, the Colts have followed up losses with against-the-spread victories 17 times. For the math-challenged out there, that's a 17-1 ATS trend, according to this chart over at OddsShark.com, the longtime odds provider to Fox Sports.

And that situation is in vogue tonight as they host the New York Jets in MNF.

Indy opened with a loss at Buffalo, who turned around and lost to the bully Patriots Sunday.

The 17-1 ATS streak isn't the only trend that seems to point to the Colts cashing in at the sportsbook windows in Vegas tonight. They are 8-2 ATS in their past 10 Monday Nighters as favorites, while the Jets are limping along with a 1-7 SU in MNF games when they are getting points.

Totals bettors are assessing whether the Indy's recent run of UNDERs (eight in a row) will continue here tonight.
