Watch: The Legendary Bill Murray Celebrates Wrigley Field At 100% Capacity
Everyone's favorite party animal Bill Murray is basking in the glory of a COVID-less America.
Introduced as part of Friday’s matchup between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals, Murray — a die-hard Cubs fan —was given the mic to kick off festivities with his rendition of "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" before letting out a sentiment many of us have been waiting to hear after nearly 16 months of being shut down.
"THIS IS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BE ONE HUNDRED PERCENT!," shouted Murray, as he grabbed the microphone to address a Wrigley Field at full capacity — hosting over 41,000 fans.
In a very Murray fashion, the all-time American hype man found a way to keep the crowds going. "And we're gonna keep getting louder right up to last out of the top of the ninth. Let's scare the hell outta these Cardinals!"
The Chicago Cubs went on to win the game 8-5 against the Cards, which may or may not have been a result of Murray's Braveheart-like rallying cry to celebrate the end of lockdowns.
Time to party hardy Marty!
