Orioles' Trey Mancini Makes His Return To Camden Yards

Orioles outfielder Trey Mancini made his first visit back to Camden Yards after being diagnosed with stage III colon cancer back in March of 2020. For those who haven't seen the video, don't forget your goggles. Someone's cutting onions.

Mancini mentioned pre-game that he expected a warm welcome, but he wanted to make sure Red Sox starter Eduardo Rodriguez received the same. The left-handed hurler also makes his home debut this evening after dealing with COVID complications that caused him to miss all of the 2020 campaign.

Trey Mancini is pretty much embraced by everyone around the league. It's really too bad we don't appreciate each other until our lives are on the line or lost. We should do better.

Welcome back to baseball, Trey.
